Sales Manager / Sales Team Leader (New Business Team) – London(£52 base + OTE)
This leading Londonbased Technology innovator is seeking experienced Sales Manager / Sales Team Leader. The client is well established / renowned in the market with clients that include Sony, Toshiba, Phillips, Apple, Panasonic, Proctor & Gamble, PC World, Tesco’s, Hewlett Packard & just to name but a few. These guys are the cream of the crop! They produce online content and then deliver directly to the clients. It is not working for an ad or media agency.
Due to continued planned expansion they are seeking an experienced Manager to have oversight of the entire sales team. The team currently compromises of 6 New Business Sales Executives based (mostly based remotely throughout Europe). This role will take direct line management of the entire sales function of the business. This role will be pure management / coordination as apposed to direct new business development.
Daily responsibilities / duties will include maximizing sales worldwide, Help refine the sales tools and pitch, To manage the individual performance of the sales team in the different territories, To manage the team’s day to day running’s, KPI’s and development and training needs, Identify sales opportunities and provide structured follow-up and tracking in CRMsystem, Manage monthly team forecasts in the most efficient way, Report on market and individual performance on a monthly basis as well as reporting market developments, events and new business opportunities, Deliver all necessary training within the Sales Process and assessing training needs within the Sales team and develop appropriate training programmes.
To qualify for the post you will be an experienced Sales Manager with a proven background in Staff Management of Sales. Exposure to some of the following will also be required - People management, an excellent track record of coaching and Sales management, project management, planning & prioritization, Ability to work to deadlines, Ability to work under pressure, Communications Planning, Presentations, Good verbal and written communication skills, Relationship builder, Emotional resilience, Determination, Assertiveness, Political understanding, Negotiation Skills.
